A slew of Nobel prizes were handed out during the week. That started the controversies about who gets them, who doesn’t and why. Coincidently, we saw the movie Hidden Figures last night. It’s about the African American women who helped John Glenn make the first American orbital flight. Odd timing, don’t you think?

As if Toys-R-Us didn’t have enough troubles, they recalled 30,000 Infant Wiggle Bells last week for choking hazard.

Fiat Chrysler recalled more than 700,000 SUVs at risk for a brake defect.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tom Petty died last week of cardiac arrest. He was 66.
